The Netherlands is no stranger when it comes to motorcycle racing as its debut in this world took place in 1925. However, it was only introduced into the official MotoGP™ calendar in 1949 and is considered to be the oldest event on the calendar. Held at The Cathedral of Speed, more formally known as the TT Assen Circuit, this is a legendary event that is embraced by passionate fans who religiously make their way to support their favourite riders annually, while at the same time creating a vibe that is unlike no other. The circuit itself is located in the idyllic Dutch countryside, not far from Amsterdam, and one can definitely expect an electrifying atmosphere during the race weekend, which explains why the Dutch MotoGP™ tickets are always quick to sell out!
This historic circuit is deemed to be a fast and tight one, with 18 corners in total. Riders have to bring on their A-game with their braking skills to ensure that they don’t strain their rear tires too much. A spectacular event matched with a fabulous circuit that offers plenty of superb seats, you have plenty of options to choose from which to catch the race. One phenomenal spot is the Strubben Grandstand which guarantees panoramic views of the whole circuit due to its prime location at the end of the main stretch. Another hotspot is the Ossebroken Grandstand, the area where you can see plenty of overtaking action as it is located at a hairpin corner. There is definitely no lack of awesome seats as each one comes with its own set of perks for you to enjoy.
